Quick Change Housing with Micro Blade Adjustment
This is the most versatile holder on the market for Razor slitting. It is simple to use and with a quick setup. It has a quick change feature for worn Razor blades. The Quick Change consists of two parts, a body which clamps to dovetail and a blade cartridge.
The body remains on the dovetail, unlike competitors holders when making blade change. The cartridge is removed with a worn blade, new cartridge is installed with a sharp blade. All of this takes only a matter of seconds.
The Quick Change has a minimum slit of 5/8" and is very light and easy to move for setup. The Micro Blade adjustment allows operator to lower Razor blade deeper into the substrate being slit, allowing for a new sharp razor edge to be exposed, unlike competitors Holders which just allow for one depth of Blade penetration. And because the Quick Change is set up for a 2.25" DE Razor blade it has 4 slitting edges as opposed to some competitors who only have single edge blades.
